Well I guess I finally got the old Bee running out like I wanted it.
The last thing I did after getting the carpet in was to tape off the open areas of the jack plate and fill it up with foam. I know this sounds strange but it actually helped by adding some lift/flotation under the motor.
Now I can come off plane and not fill the splash well slap full of water and the hull actually has a better hole shot, just roll on the throttle easy or full and she lifts the bow up a little bit, takes off and gets on plane better.
