Best fish finder for minimal $?

I don't need anything fancy but the current fish finder in my boat leaves some to be desired. I am looking at possibly going with a garmin that I found on Amazon for around $150 that had good reviews. I figured I would drop a line here (see what I did there ) to find out what the best one for my money is. Thanks for any info.
