BigBass made a post earlier today about battery upkeep.
I'd like to add a little something without hijacking his original thread.
Don't know how many of you have ever used a battery desulfator but I can tell you that I'm 100% sold on them because they've proven their worth time & time again in my shop !
They will simply pay for themselves on the first battery they restore ... & let's not forget adding double or more battery life when using one of these cool little gadgets.
You don't have to spend a lot of money for one either, they can be had all over eBay & the web for under $40 & most are waterproof. I use one that has a trickle charger built in with a true float circuit.
Last year I bought 3 used Trojan deep cycle marine batteries (cores) from a battery store for $8 each, 2 out 3 of them came back to 100% charge after using the desulfator.
