basstar cranks

was reading through some post yesterday and spoted a pic that someone put on here with the basstar dredger crank really peaked my intrest. looked them up on you tube and had some videos and were kinda lame. anybody used them?? Love the idea. noticed the golf ball dimpling on them and know that decreases drag in the air wondering if that was their thinking on this lure.
