The bassin Serie's Rd3 at Lake St Clair turned out to be the worst series in it's 2 year's history.Only 100 bass was weighed from 56 team's over the 2 day's.Not one team weighed in it's full limit over the weekend. The condition's were perfect but the bass were tight lipped for the whole weekend, making angler's second guessing themself's of there tactic's choices.David Williams and Ryan Jones from team Full Scale/Berkley came close, they fished slow rolling berkley gulp minnow grub's in the camo color between 30 and 40ft.They weighed in 11 fish, weighing in at 7.380kg that put them in first place, saying they moved to heap's of different spot's they found in pre fish.
Second place went to Team Mako,Greg Parkes and Steve Almond, who also targeted fish deep with the berkley gulp minnow's.They brought in 9 fish weighing 6.83kg.
Team WoodStock took out third place, using plastic's and spinnerbait's around the edges of the schooled bass in around 6mtr's of water. The bites were very slow and inconsistant to say the least, making it very testing at times. The Boy's brought in 8 bass, weighing 5.020kg.
The weekend really put the angler's to the test with there tactic's,but slow rolled gulp minnow's in the camo color seemed to be the best producer of the weekend.
