I just got my Trolling Motor today & have starting thinking about where I keep my boat its out in in the alley at my Step Daughters place & there is no night lighting or security there to keep my boat safe.. 
Sure its right outside there bedroom window, but they're not always home sitting in their bedroom listening for noise outside the windows.
( they have 2 small kids that make plenty of noise to keep them distracted )
& Now I'm thinking maybe I should order the Minn-Kota MKA-21 quick release bracket.
Yes it will cost me more money to buy this.... but thinking about how it might be worth the piece of mind being able to take it off while the boat sits in this public alley where anyone can walk up to it & simply unbolt it & walk away with it..
( Remember I live in L.A. )
I think I'll probably order it tomorrow.
But would like to know what you guys think & if any of you have used it & what your thoughts are of it.
& if I lose this parking spot ( They might move ) I'll taking out to a friends yard where they store the over flow cars from his auto wrecking biz.
& Then I know it would disappear..
