Check this out
5th Annual Georgia/South Carolina "King of the Hill" Rally August 28, 29, 30
<HR style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1; COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Well, looks like the show will go on.
I had decided NOT to have the Annual Georgia / South Carolina “King of the Hill” Clarks Hill Rally this year being it was just too much for me to handle alone and has been major financial burden due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Well after the word got out, I started receiving calls from people offering to volunteer their help due to the fact that they didn’t want this great tradition to end. What most people don't know is, this is just a continuation of something Wally and Robin Lamkin started quite a few years back. It also didn't take them long to figure out it was just too much dam work. All I have done is continue to build on their foundation but it had gotten just too big for one person.
So with that being said, we have reserved the Savannah Lakes Resort for August 28, 29 and 30th. We will be updating this thread as info(drag permit approval, room rates, poker run info, air show info etc…..) becomes available but just wanted to put the date out there so people can start planning.
Also if anyone else would like to volunteer, just shoot me a p.m. and I can let you know what services are still needed. Thanks to all who have stepped up to the plate so we can keep this going.
