... and $5,388.00...I finally got my boat back.

The attached photos show the rip/tear in the top cap that had been there since 1999 or 2000. It's a '95 so it took place when the boat was 4-5 years old - maybe 6 years old. Up until April of this year the boat was powered by a 1995 200 Xri. Through a special set of circumstances I ended up with the boat last September and have pretty much been trying to "heal" it ever since.

What the repair shop found once they opened it up.

1.) voids in the stringer(s)
2.) all 4 stringers delaminated
3.) all 4 stringers broken
4.) hull delaminated @ transom

I was told the stringers delaminated due to hot lay up. The void(s) in the stringer(s) could only be explained due to horrible craftsmanship. The phrase "horrible craftsmanship" is mine. Because all the stringers broke that forced the transom to carry all the torque and it is believed that flexing caused the hull to delaminate.

Yes, I contacted Gambler about this issue. I was told, and I quote "Doug, the boat is old." Seems they didn't hear me when I said the rip/tear first occured when the boat was 4-6 years old.
