I just happened onto this little jewel by accident. Last year when I bought the Trokar hooks at Wally World, I bought worm hooks, but also bought some straight shank hooks with two plastic keepers at the top of the shank. I was having problems with standard worm hooks not penetrating like they should. Took one of the straight shank hooks out and tried it. These things are perfect. First time a fish hit it, I set the hook, and drove the hook through his jaw plate. They have a wide gap to them, so they work on all sized fish. Now I know some of you are saying Nic has really lost his mind this time. But this is possibly the best worm hook I've ever used. And trust me, until I joined this site, worm fishing was about all I did. If you like worm fishing, you have to try these rascals out.
