This is MY personal list of what I like in a boat (not going by sales or JD Power BS rankings)
    In no particular order:

    Allison XB21
Lanier Custom Boat (is it still called a C-20?)
    BassCat Jaguar
    Pheonix 721
    Stratos 201 Evolution

You'll notice no "R" "C" "S" on the list. When you consider the "Best" you need to include the dealer base, dealer base support, customer service, warranty service, and the overall features/performance of the boat. From my perception, I would probably have Allison on the list if I had any experience with their boat, dealers, or company and Nitro might drop off the list. R-C-S have good rigs in the order listed IMO however consider the other issues.

I gotta agree, I was confused by the question too. It might seem simple enough, but what is the criteria that constitutes "best?"

And what is the definition of "fishing boat?" If you're looking from a purely fishing standpoint, then Lund and Yar-Craft need to be brought into the mix.

Nothing wrong with your question Kevin!. :D "what's your top 5 boats? can't get any simpler than that.... take everything that matters to you in consideration!!! :wallbash: seems like skeeter is on most everyone's list.

Stroker, BassCat, Phoenix, Bullet, Lanier are tops in my quest to replace my wrecked boat

    May the 'best' boat win!

also, there's no order implied in the above, at least until I make a decission, then there will be a 'best' and the others will be 'damned good' contenders
