To assist since the economy isnt in good shape.
Last year I put up about 2 dz jars of grape and plum jelly,it does help .
This year the late freeze got my plums but may have a few grapes, nothing like last year.
But have a small garden, fresh veg,and making bread and butter pickles today ,seems I have a surplus of cucumbers.11 jars today ,tomorrow trying for some dill.
Theres absolutely nothing like homemade jelly and jams, fresh veg that one doesnt pay 2 dollars for a handfull.
And if you cant make your own in many states like Ohio the Quakers will have a roadside stand, its hard to beat their stuff, and still costs less than say Krogers(no pun intended).
