Just wondering if someone could give me some direction as to how I can replace the list assist currently on my motor with power trim cylinders from a parts motor I have. Here are the motors I have:
My engine: 1976 Mercury 115 (tower of power)
Parts Engine: 1979 Mercury 140 (tower of power)
Are the parts on these motors interchangeable? Could someone please provide detailed steps of how to swap the lift assist with the power trim or show me where I can find detailed instructions of how to do this? Diagrams would be a big help also. Thanks in advance!
