I have a stratos 175 w/a 150 evinrude for power ,the previous owner hung a stump at a high rate of speed and did a number on the transom. I have bounced on the motor and don't see any flex (it has an aluminun plate inside and out and is braced with a 2" by 2" bar) I'm still concerend about the safety of this type repair and the more I use it the more it bothers me. Has any one seen this type repair and is it safe to operate?
