My current Ford Expedition I bought for $5000 and has 200K miles on it. It's slowly following apart from both parts failures and rust. I'm hoping to nurse it to 2015 because of THIS:

Okay. I'm not a Chevy guy. At all. But I will give credit where it's due. The new truck looks awesome, especially in rock red. I'm a sucker for it. However, that's not enough to make me buy or I would have bought a Tacoma already. The "wow" moment was when I read you can get it with a 4CYL Turbo Diesel. That little engine pushes almost 100lb more torque than my Expedition (I have the small 4.6L), and could very well push near to 30MPG highway. I currently average about 15 to 16 MPG in the Expedition.
Other goodies include: Fully Boxed frame, 4 wheel disc ABS brakes, built in trailer brake controller, and heavily insulated interior with triple sealed doors and windows to keep sound out.
Let's hope GM doesn't drop the ball on this thing.
