Returned two demo props and Fury to the dealer and picked up my 27" trophy. While waiting as the salesman processed the refund and the invoice for the 27"er I was diddlin' the 27" settin' on the counter. It would rock back n' forth on two blades leaving 2 blades about 1/8" or so suspended. I rotated the prop to see if the countertop its self was the issue. It wasn't. I'm thinkin' "Mmmmm... this can't be good." The blue demo prop was still on the counter as well so I stood it on the tips and it displayed the same condition.

After what Jay has told me about outt'a the box trophys I wasn't too surprised and actually rather pleased as it can't help but mean there's a fair amount left in the prop when I get it back from Jay.

Logic tells me in a perfect world all four tips would contact the surface while the barrel of the prop is perpendicular to the surface the prop is setting on. Is this true or does the grinding they do on the cup area make this a virtual impossibility?
