It seems like the industry has started a strong push for quality 18 foot boats again. I haven't seen this much interest in them since BASS had a 150hp limit. Stratos is pushing the VLO harder than any of their other boats. The first boat on Triton's site during the classic was the 18XS. Major League Fishing is putting the pros in Z-7s. Both the big outboard releases this year, the 150 Fourstroke Mercury and the 150 SHO, are aimed straight at the 18 foot market.
Seems like there has never been a better time for 18 Footers if you're in the market for them. Just wish Skeeter would put out a FX 18.
