I finfshed running back from my fishing spot which was about 40 miles from the ramp and when I went to drop the trolling motor it started popping up all over the place. It seems the pin that fits in the bracket slid out of the hole. I hammered it in when I got home so I think its OK now but is there anything I can do to keep it from happening again?
