Arbuckle:
: October 11. Elevation 8 ft. below normal, water 76 and clear in the main lake and stained in the creeks. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on jigs, worms, crankbaits and Zara spooks from the surface to 15 ft. around brush structure, rocks, weed beds and hydrilla beds. Crappie fair on jigs, grubs, spoons and crankbaits in chartreuse/pearl at 10-32 ft. around brush structure, the main lake and creek channels. White bass fair on spoons, slabs and grubs at 27-35 ft. in creek channels, the main lake and coves; slabbing near creek bends and drop-offs. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River: October 14. Elevation normal, water 64 and clear. Smallmouth, spotted and largemouth bass good on crankbaits, sassy shad and jerk baits at 3-7 ft. in channels, rocks and brush structure. Channel catfish good on stinkbait, chicken liver, worms and cut bait at 4-8 ft. in channels, brush structure, rocks and deeper pools near current. Broken Bow: August 10. Elevation normal, water 81. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, slabs and plastic baits at 20 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and points. Channel catfish good on chicken liver, stinkbait, punch bait and worms at 10-15 ft. in channels, river mouth and river channel. Crappie good on jigs, tube jigs, spoons and minnows at 20-25 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.


Eufaula: October 12. Elevation 3 ft. below normal, water clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and plastic baits around points. White bass fair on jigs and crankbaits around windy points. Blue catfish fair on drifting shad on shallow flats. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs under bridges, around standing timber and riprap areas. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County. Hugo: August 24. Elevation normal, water 84. Crappie slow on minnows and jigs at 15-25 ft. in the river channel. Blue catfish slow on cut bait and live bait from the surface to 10 ft. in creek channels and river channel. Report submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Choctaw and Bryan counties.


Konawa: July 1. Elevation above normal, water 82. Largemouth bass good on plastic baits, topwater lures and live bait around brush structure, weed beds and shallows. Channel and blue catfish good on dough bait, cut bait, stinkbait and worms at 4-8 ft. along shallows, points and creek channels. White bass and striped bass hybrids slow on cut bait, jigs, spoons and crankbaits in creek channels, the discharge and around points. Lower Mountain Fork: August 10. Elevation normal, water 65. Trout fair on nymphs along rocks. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
October 9. Stocked 1,000 lbs., approximately 1,775 rainbow trout on October 6. Report submitted by April Drake, secretary at the Southeast Regional Office


McGee Creek:
July 27. Elevation normal, water 80 and clear. Crappie good on minnows at 16-20 ft. around brush structure. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs and plastic baits at 20-24 ft. around points and rocks. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.



Murray: August 26. Elevation below normal, water 82 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on topwater lures, plastic baits and crankbaits from the surface to 20 ft. around docks, points and weed beds. Channel catfish fair on chicken liver, stinkbait, worms and punch bait at 10-25 ft. in channels, the main lake and creek channels. Pine Creek: August 10. Elevation rising, water 73. Largemouth bass good on spinnerbaits at 10-12 ft. in creek channels and around points. Crappie good on jigs at 14-16 ft. around brush structure and standing timber. Sunfish excellent on worms in the shallows. Channel catfish good on cut bait along river channels. Robber's Cave State Park: No report submitted. Robert S. Kerr: October 14. Elevation normal, water 85. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, plastic baits and bill baits along coves, brush structure and shorelines. Striped bass good on live shad and cut bait along the river channel. Blue, channel and flathead catfish excellent on cut bait, live bait and dough bait in the main lake, along flats and the river channel. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in the main lake, around standing timber and rocks. Report submitted by Allen Couch, game warden stationed in Haskell County.


Sardis: August 10. Elevation normal, water 85. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on buzz baits, spinnerbaits and plastic baits at 4-14 ft. around brush structure, weed beds and points. Crappie fair on jigs, tube jigs, minnows and live bait at 12-26 ft. around brush structure, standing timber and rocks. Blue catfish fair on cut bait and worms at 12-16 ft. in the main lake, rocks and river channel. Report submitted by Dane Polk, game warden stationed in Pushmataha County.




Texoma: October 12. Elevation 6 ft. below normal, water 78 and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on plastic baits, crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 5-20 ft. around brush structure and creek channels. Striped bass and white bass good on live shad, slabs and sassy shad at 10-20 ft. along the river channel, the main lake and around points. Channel and blue catfish good on cut bait, stinkbait and live bait at 10-20 ft. in the main lake, along riprap, the river channel and cleaning stations. Crappie fair on small lures, minnows and tube jigs at 5-15 ft. around brush structure, docks and creek channels. Report submitted by Danny Clubb, game warden stationed in Bryan County.


Wister: August 10. Elevation normal, water 82. Largemouth and spotted bass fair on bill baits and crankbaits at 4-8 ft. in creek channels and shorelines early and late. Crappie and bluegill fair on jigs and small lures at 8-12 ft. around brush structure early and late. Flathead catfish fair on sunfish at 4-12 ft. in channels and river channel.
