Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 78 degrees, high, dingy; catfish fair on shad, cut baits and stinkbaits; white bass slow on light colored soft plastics and crappie jigs; black bass slow on worms and soft plastic worms; crappie slow on minnows and crappie jigs.

Lake of the Ozarks (Glaize): 79 degrees, dingy; catfish slow on worms, hotdogs, stinkbaits, cut baits, chicken livers, shad and bluegill; white bass slow using light colored soft plastics; black bass slow on dark colored soft plastics and crankbaits; crappie fair on crappie jigs and minnows.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): 79 degrees, dingy; black bass good on deep crankbaits and some are still being caught on jigs; crappie fair on jigs on docks; early morning is best time. Catfish good; fall pattern has started; find the shallow flats and throw your jugs out; for best success use whole shad.

Maramec Spring Park: 57 degrees, the water level is falling back to normal flow but has turned from clear to cloudy and a little green; pink, white, and orange doughbait is working well; bubblegum Power Bait and green and white rubber leg jigs have been effective. Whistle hours for Sept. are 7:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. (Report made on 9/23/2010)
Montauk State Park: 58 degrees, the river level is normal for this time of year and steady as of 4:00 p.m. on September 22th. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.
