Blind Pony Lake: 87 degrees, low, dingy; bluegill fair on nightcrawlers; all other species slow. Anglers need to be reminded that the lake is closed to private boats and bait held or transported in containers with water is prohibited. (Report made on 8/11/2010)
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 87 degrees, high, dingy; black bass slow on worms and dark colored soft plastic worms; white bass slow using light colored soft plastics and crappie jigs; crappie slow, try minnows and crappie jigs; catfish fair on worms, cut baits, stinkbaits and chicken livers.

Maramec Spring Park: 57 degrees, normal, the water is clear with good flow. Aquatic vegetation has been cut and the river is in good shape; fishing early in the morning is producing the best fishing; pink, white, green and yellow doughbait is working well. Whistle hours for August are 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Report made on 8/12/2010)
Montauk State Park: 60 degrees, normal, clear; the river level is normal and steady as of 2:00 p.m. on August 11th. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.
