Binder: 88 degrees, normal, dingy; largemouth bass fair on plastic frogs and spinnerbaits; channel catfish fair on liver and stinkbaits; bluegill fair on crickets and worms; all other species slow.

Blind Pony Lake: 82 degrees, normal, dingy; bluegill fair on nightcrawlers; all other species slow. Anglers need to be reminded that the lake is closed to private boats and bait held or transported in containers with water is prohibited. (Report made on 7/22/2010)
Lake of the Ozarks (Bagnell Tailwater): 83 degrees, high, dingy; crappie slow on minnows and crappie jigs; black bass slow using worms and dark colored soft plastic worms; white bass slow on light colored soft plastics; catfish fair using stinkbaits, worms and cut shad.

Lake of the Ozarks (Niangua): 88 degrees, dingy; black bass fair on jigs, go a little deeper than you think and get to the brush; crappie fair on minnows; catfish fair with cut bait on jug lines at 15 feet deep.

TROUT PARKS
Bennett Spring State Park: 57 degrees, the spring level is about normal and clearing; best lures: pink and white colored and olive/black colored marabou jigs, John Deere colored and brown and black colored roaches, cream midges, orange with brown stripe colored Rooster Tails, grey scuds, black and yellow wooly buggers with gold plated head, salmon peach colored and Power Baits and trout nip, orange plastic worms and easter egg colored glo balls. July fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
We will be cutting weeds August 10 and 11. We will start around 9 a.m. and be finished by 4 p.m. each day. (Report made on 7/21/2010)
Maramec Spring Park: 56 degrees, falling, dingy; the water is starting to clear up and is falling back to normal levels after a flood event. Fish early in the morning. Try deep holes and around cover during the afternoon sun. Small Rapalas and white jigs have been effective. (Report made on 7/22/2010)
Montauk State Park: 60 degrees, normal, clear; the river level is normal and steady as of 6:00 a.m. on July 22nd. The water is clear. Fishing is good on all baits with the best fishing in the morning and evening hours.

Roaring River State Park: 57 degrees, normal, the water is getting very clear, use 2 lb test or lighter; white and orange plastic baits are working well; spinners, brown and green jigs and red plastic worms are working well in deeper holes; brown Power Bait eggs and worms are doing great; spinners and marabou jigs are also working well.
