I'm not sure if this is where this needs to be posted but here goes. I have a 1991 Evinrude intruder on my Ranger boat. When I first got the boat it was having throttle issues when you give it the gas in drive it would die. Sent it to the shop and they rebuilt the carbs and said it was in good shape. I've took it out a few times since and most of the time it runs fine, but other times it will do the same thing as mentioned before it don't matter if the engine is warm or cold but it seems if you idle it up for a minute then idle down, then put it in gear it will do fine. I am a farmer and have tinkered with engines all my life but I am not familiar with outboards at all any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
