I have a 2009 hp18 explorer I just purchased in the fall it has a 150 hp MERC with a hot foot on it. When you are taking off the back end seems to suck down anybody know how much water you need not to have to worry about bottoming out?
I do not have a jack plate on it ,thinking about it but do not know how much benefit it would be.
What would the draft be when trolling with the electric?
I really have not had time to try all these things out so I figure there will be guys out there that know.
I also just bought a hummnbird 898c si depth finder and I think I will need another transducer for when I am running from spot to spot at higher speeds. I would like a shoot thru the hull one if possible does anyone know the part number?
