The 1000 Islands Bassmasters held their tournament of the season yesterday on the St Lawrence River. Calm waters till 11AM then the wind blew at about 20, gusts to 30mph. Guys coming back from the Clayton area & Lk Ontario fought 5 footers and better. One members jackplate broke and the motor went under the boat but the hoses held it and he got towed in safe.
