Economies effect on boat builders

I was sitting here wondering what you guys think about this economy. Do you think some manufacturers will cut back on Quality and workmanship like say the food market where you get less but they don't raise the prices. I am sure they are cutting labor costs as is just about everyone these days but do you guys thing tat quality will suffer?
I can say 2 builders I know of will never cut quality .
Whats is ya'lls thoughts?
