boating for today

When a new (reboater) starts or get's back into boating, I know speed is always KING but just how many boaters are just happy w/getting out and not "going balls to the wall" and enjoying boating, outdoors, fishing, seeing nature ect. With the price of gas but mostly wear and tare on equipment is going 50-75 the dream of everyone, after all sometimes 25 is all the conditions allow. Maybe my age is showing. there maybe a section for others and not just speed thanks
