Windy ,water choppy,water is at 358 ,4 ft above winter pool.discolored but not muddy.58 deg and been up like this before and had fallen causing the bite to fall off.
Main lake bite for me was nonexistant,kind of hard to hang on and try to position boat to fish it.
Coves however produced 16 1/2 to 17 in fish on a dark backed pointer susp jerkbait in 3 ft of water,they wanted it shoveling the bottom up,and when bit felt like you hung on some grass that wiggled a lil as they would run at the boat.
1 mile of bank nothing then in 100 ft area caught 2 short and three keepers,when you do get bit stay there.
It does one good to look down and know it will measure,its a GREAT FEELING
