I may be needing to purchase a new onboard charger in the next day or two. Please give me some advice on advantages of 3 bank vs 2 bank chargers. I currently have 2 batteries (one for electronics and starting battery and the other for trolling motor). I know 3 bank will charge 3 batteries but if I upgrade in the future to a 24v trolling motor requiring 2 12v batteries, do I still need a 3 bank charger even if I have the 2 trolling motor batteries wired parallel?
