i have a 2008 skeeter sx180 and i want to install a brand new lowrance elite5 combo gps/sonar unit.
question is should i install it thru hull whereas i will have to purchase and install a temp sensor at around $65.00 or should i install it on the transom where it has temp sensor and gps and speeed internal as well in the transducer???
what is recommended for best readouts of the unit in sonar mode??
