Basshawk, you are exactly right about slower drain using the two 6v batteries. Mine are Trojan deep cycle and I'm assuming they are used in golfcarts, forklifts etc. Attached is a picture of my setup.

FisherMan, Yes, I have two (2) six volt batteries that are wired in series which gives me 12 volts for my TM. My 2 bank charger charges both 6 volts AND my seperate 12 volt starting battery. Using the two 6 volts is less drain on them especialy when I'm using the TM for several hours. In other...

Now you guys have me really confused. I have a 2 bank charger. I run two trojan 6 volt batteries in series for my TM. When I plug in to charge them, it also charges my starting battery.

Thanks Aroney.. I had no idea that leaving the charger on 24/7 was ok! I was thinking they would burn up, blow up or something if I were to do that. Thanks again bud!!

Just a quick question....... Are you saying it is ok to leave the on-board charger plugged in 24/7 ?? I have a 2 bank charger but once I get 2 green lights, I unplug it. Will it damage the batteries if left charging??
